The overall layout of this website is nice. I’m not sure what you were aiming for with the banner and the distortion of the photograph. Also, I feel like the photograph is competing with the logo and text on top of it for attention. I think the biggest thing that needs to be done is some text design. Overall the text just seems static and lacking in “design.” The color scheme and layout of the page as a whole is very nice.
